Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chenin Blanc opens with a wet stone like bouquet with hints of cantaloupe, chamomile tea and lemon. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is led by chamomile tea along with quince, lemon verbena and almond. The finish is fresh and its acidity fades away nicely. I would pair with Chenin with steamers. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: At first swirl, aromatics of honeydew melon, white peach and Meyer lemon spring forward from the glass with notes of orange blossom, honeysuckle and chamomile. On the palate, the wine is refreshing with flavors of lemon, pear and mango with a hint of green apple. The mouthfeel is lively, but rich and has a subtle creaminess. 100% stainless steel fermentation guarantees the fresh fruit character. Pair with fresh oysters or seafood.
