Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc has lots of tiny bubbles upon pouring. It opens with a fragrant flinty yellow grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, balance and zesty. The flavor profile is a tart yellow grapefruit with notes of nicely integrated minerality. I also detected hints of nectarine, tangerine, Saratoga Big Red Spring mineral water and a dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for some time. This is a very nice summer boat wine to serve chilled with oysters. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This delicious wine incorporates small amounts of Sauvignon Musque and Sauvignon Gris which adds a layer of depth and a fleshy, full-bodied mouthfeel. At first swirl, this wine presents aromas of pineapple, ripe pear and some floral notes. On the palate, flavors of Meyer lemons, tangerines and mineral notes come through with a slightly creamy, but lively finish.
