Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a funky grapefruit like bouquet with a hint of peach pit. That said, don't let the bouquet fool you, this is a very nice wine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and very smooth for a Sauvignon Blanc. The flavors profile is a gentle mild mineral infused green apple with notes of light grapefruit. I also detected hints of nectarine and peach in the background. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. I would pair this very nice Sauvignon Blanc with grilled swordfish skewers. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This vintage of Taylor’s Vineyard Sauvignon Musque has aromas of floral and ripe citrus with a hint of white pepper. The palate reveals wonderful ripe peach and honeysuckle flavors with a pleasingly rich texture. Stainless steel fermentation preserves the excellent structure and vibrant acidity in the wine. A delicious wine from start to finish! Aging potential: 5 years - until 2019.
