Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet opens with a fragrant cranberry and red currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a spicy blueberry with notes of black currant. I also detected hints of black licorice, black cherry and old oak. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are very approachable. This wine is food friendly and would pair well with roasted pork tenderloin with a fig chutney. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2008 vintage of Endeavour is impressive for both its purity of fruit and silky smooth tannin structure. At first swirl, aromas of cherry, chocolate, and cardamom spice leap from the glass. On the palate, the wine is expressive showcasing our region's distinctive character of dried florals, cranberries, bright cherries and earthy, dusty tannins. Rich and flavorful, this impeccably balanced Cabernet Sauvignon is our crown jewel and represents our vision for what this varietal can be from the Dry Creek Valley.
