Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with a vanilla, oak, and butterscotch bouquet with hints of poached pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with notes of medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and balanced. The flavor profile is a poached pear and toasted oak blend with notes of coconut and pineapple. I also detected hints of chalky minerality and lemon. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for quite a while. This Chard would pair well with pasta carbonara. Enjoy – Ken
