Wine Review: In the glass, this Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon is a pretty translucent ruby color. On the nose, I found cherry and blueberry aromas, with notes of bell pepper and tobacco leaf. It has a medium plus body and is balanced and layered. The jammy flavors of plum and dark cherry mix with notes of berry vanilla and black pepper. The chewy tannins last a long time in the finish with some notes of dark fruit and spice appearing. I would serve this good value Cab with steak au poivre. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red. Intense and expressive with fresh red and black fruits, particularly showing strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cassis combined with aromas of black pepper, caramel, tobacco and chocolate. On the palate, it is balanced with good structure, perceptible acidity and ripe tannins. Long and persistent fruity finish. We recommend serving with mature cheeses, grilled meats and well-seasoned dishes.
