Wine Review: This straw colored Grillo opens with a mild lime, lemon verbena, and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with nice medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and a little bright. The flavor profile is a crushed stone minerality and honeydew melon blend with notes of lemon. I also detected hints of chamomile tea and green apple. The finish is dry and refreshing. This is a nice beach wine that should be served slightly chilled. With food, I would pair it with fried calamari. Enjoy. – Ken

Winemaker Notes: SurSur 2020, brilliant straw yellow, on the nose offers a fresh bouquet with notes of white fleshed fruit (peach and cantaloupe melon) combined with scents of wildflowers and mint. The fruity notes resurface on the palate with pleasant freshness and smoothness. It matches perfectly with a gourmet panini or with seafood starters.
