Wine Review: This dark garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Dominus is fantastic! It opens with a black currant and dark chocolate bouquet with hints of marionberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty marionberry and graphite blend with notes of raspberry tea. I also detected some hints of cassis and red licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its moderate tannins sail on for a very long time. This was the best wine from a very impressive lineup. I would share and pair this winner with lovers of fine wine and a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Voluptuous and vibrant, dense evergreen forest floor, incense, profound depth, rich plum and an extremely long finish.
