Wine Review: This amber colored Chenin Blanc from Vouvray opens with a ginger ale and pilsner beer like bouquet with a hint of cashew. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, viscous, round and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a honey and chamomile tea blend with hints of ginger ale. I also detected hints quince jam and lemon verbena. The finish is dry its acidity and flavors linger nicely. This Chenin Blanc would pair well with roasted pork chops with an apple sauce. Enjoy- Ken
