Wine Review: This brilliant hay colored Chenin Blanc from Vouvray opens with a ginger ale and orange peel bouquet with hints of almond and lemon-lime. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and approachable. The flavor profile is almond and lemon verbena blend with notes of ginger tea and stone dust. I also detected hints of white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. This Vouvray would pair perfectly with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
