Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Drouhin opens with a mild strawberry bouquet with hints of red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very smooth, and elegant. The flavor profile is a strawberry licorice and red plum blend with notes of gentle oak. I also detected hints of black pepper and minerality. The finish is dry and has a very nice extended finish for a Pinot. I would pair this wine with a roasted pork tenderloin with sage, rosemary and garlic. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The rich and lively nose is filled with aromas of pretty red fruit, baking spices, orange peel and velvety flower petals. Round on the palate with rustic tannins, flavors of red currant and deep cherry evolve after time. The long and supple finish is spicy and long.
