Wine Review: This translucent and pale white gold colored Chardonnay from Saint Veran opens with an anise and lemon tea bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, smooth, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is light lemon and gentle pineapple blend with notes of white tea. We also detected hints of stone dust and lime. The finish is dry, and its flavors fade away nicely.
