Wine Review: This pungent Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is a translucent ruby color. Its complex nose combines savory pepperoni, black pepper, dark cherry and graphite. It is dry and medium bodied, with moderate acidity, good balance and soft tannins, Warm flavors of currant, boysenberry and woodsy spice lead to a slightly tart, moderate finish. I would pair this with a lamb burger accompanied by a cucumber dill yogurt sauce. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Our 2015 validates the extraordinary promise of southern Monterey County Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a big, dark, fruit-infused wine packed with blackberries, raspberries and cassis. On the palate, it is substantial and luscious with layers of ripe fruit supported by well-integrated tannins. Powerful, yet silky smooth, our 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is the ideal match for grilled meats or hearty stews.
