Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Davis Estates opens with lime and gooseberry bouquet with a hint of asparagus, green apple, and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round and rather smooth. The flavor profile is green apple and lime blend with notes of chamomile tea and almond. We also detected hints of light lemon. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with broiled halibut or grilled tuna. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is a beach holiday in the glass, with radiant golden straw color and powerful tropical fruit on the nose. Aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, and peach burst out, and the first sip introduces elements of green apple and lemon. This wine has crisp and bright acidity, creating a palate that is refreshing and perfect for a warm summer's day
