Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Davis Bynum opens with a very inviting black cherry and mild teaberry plum bouquet with hints of peony, red licorice, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, seamless, and shows nice finesse. The flavor profile is tasty mulberry and cinnamon blend with notes of mushroom and red plum. We also detected hints of craisin, red licorice, allspice, and light minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and very gentle fine tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot Noir with grilled salmon. Enjoy - Ken, Mark & Dave
