Wine Review: This pitch black colored Chianti is a very good value. It opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet with hints of leather, flint and musty old oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a classic styled Chianti. Those flavors are oak infused plum with notes of mild minerality. I also detected a hint of faint strawberry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are very friendly. This Chianti would be a perfect glass pour for your favorite family styled Italian restaurant! Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Da Vinci Chianti has a bright ruby red color and opens with aromas of ripe plum and cherry, accented by peppery notes. On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied and well-balanced with round tannins that linger in its soft mineral finish. This wine pairs perfectly with pastas and meat dishes.
