Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Petite Sirah based wine opens with a blackberry and espresso bouquet with hints of dark chocolate, blueberry, and fig. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, smooth, lush, and fresh. The flavor profile is a fig and blackberry blend with notes of blueberry oak, and cocoa. I also detected hints of black plum, cardamom, and oolong tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. I would pair the tasty blend with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
