Wine Review: This India ink colored Cabernet Franc based wine opens with a black plum, red currant, and cherry bouquet with hints of graphite, tobacco leaf, and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, polished, and dense. The flavor profile is a tasty black plum and loam blend with notes of black tea. We also detected hints of dark chocolate, anise, blueberry, and crushed stone minerality in the mix. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins build-up and stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Red Blend with a grilled porterhouse steak with garlic herb compound butter. We could also just sip this wine on its own by the firepit. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This Right Bank-style wine mesmerizes the senses with an enchanting, floral bouquet. A silky, velvety texture presents flavors of blackberry, black currant, licorice, graphite, and ash with hints of spice and dark chocolate. The experience is beautifully structured throughout, concluding with a long, triumphant finish. This stunning cuvée will continue to evolve favorably in the bottle for years to come.
