Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zin from D-Cubed opens with a moderate boysenberry and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, shows harmonious acidity, and is fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry with notes of blackberry. The panel also detected a touch of oak and craisin mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger slightly. The panel suggested pairing this Zin with barbecue baby back ribs or steak tips. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2007 Napa Valley Zinfandel has blackberry and cherry fruit with hits of nutmeg black pepper and cigar box. This medium bodied Zinfandel has wonderful balance of acid, tannins and alcohol and flavors of berries, spice and Herbs de Provence. This Zinfandel is lovely now, but with a little more age it will really shine.
