Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Cristom opens with a fragrant red raspberry and red cherry bouquet with hints of strawberry, pomegranate, and faint cigar box. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, youthful, yet very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty red raspberry and cranberry blend with notes of dried herbs and black tea. We also detected hints of pomegranate and lingonberry. The finish is dry, and its moderate refined dusty tannins are nicely sustained. We would pair this Pinot with grilled lamb chops or with a country pâté with crusty bread. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Vibrant fresh red fruit characters and 52% whole cluster fermentation parlay layered spice and fine tannin, the 2022 "Mt. Jeff" offers tremendous complexity of flavor and is showing exceptionally well in its youth. Drinking well now and can age until 2031 or longer.
