Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot from Oregon opens with mild red raspberry bouquet with hints of old oak and tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is an oak infused plum. I also detected hints of black pepper and pomegranate. The finish is dry and its moderate oak tannins stick around for quite a while. This wine would pair well with a pork tenderloin with an orange and fig glaze. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas: sweetly-scented, cinnamon and spice, bright-red forest berries Taste Impression: immediately attractive, great vitality and freshness, core of seductive ripe fruit, very pretty Future: best in 3-4 years, but may pleasantly surprise you at 8-10 years
