Wine Review: This Excellent Pinot Noir from Cristom in Oregon is light ruby colored and opens with a mild oak and strawberry bouquet. On the palate, is medium bodied, slightly acidic and velvety. The flavor profile is a delicious oak influenced strawberry with notes of plum. I also detected hints of black raspberry. The finish is dry and its fine tannins fade away nicely with its yummy flavors. This wine is very food friendly and would pair very nicely with chicken or veal parmigiana. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Scent: subtly-perfumed, red fruit, dried-orange rind Taste Impression: silky texture, uplifting acidity, supple & balanced Future: very pretty now, but with good aging potential for the medium to long term
