Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored wine from Washington State is very good. It opens with a blueberry bouquet with a hint of red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and gentle black raspberry blend with hints of red licorice. The finish is dry and its flavors and very mild tannins drift away nicely. This wine is a terrific value and a perfect party quaffer. I would suggest pairing it with beef sliders at you upcoming holiday parties. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Showing red and black fruits, sarsaparilla, orange peel, cinnamon and tobacco, this crisply textured red is balanced by fine grained tannins and a rich, pillow soft mid-palate.
