Wine Review: This dark ruby colored value priced Syrah from Columbia Crest is very good. It opens with a blueberry and milk chocolate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild oak and blueberry blend with hints of cocoa, cola and nutmeg. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this with a bacon burger or shepherd’s pie. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Elegant smoky tones lead to notes of currant, dried herbs and hints of pepper. The supple texture is complemented by flavors of cedar and dark fruits. Pair with pork tenderloin, grilled salmon & soft cheeses.
