Wine Review: This opaque and onyx colored wine opens with a Maine blueberry and sweet oak bouquet with a hint of black currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, rather juicy and loaded with tasty fruit flavors. Those flavors are ripe blueberry and cherry-cola with nicely integrated mild oak with a touch of black currant and dash of black pepper towards the end. The finish is dry, its tannins are gentle and its flavors linger for a while. This wine sang to my palate and it is a great deal. Pair this wine with Theresa's meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of fresh blueberries, anise and earth lead to firm and supple tannins on the palate. This red wine blend presents incredible depth, with layered flavors of candied nuts, licorice and dark chocolate that lead to a mocha finish featuring ample, sweet tannins.
