Wine Review: For the last couple of years, I have been very impressed with the H3 line and this wine is another winner in the portfolio. It is an opaque and onyx colored blend that opens with a ripe blueberry and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a rich blueberry and vanilla oak blend with notes of black cherry and a dash of black pepper. The finish is rather dry, shows a littler heat, and its sticky tannins are sizable and impressive. This is a lot of wine for the money and you will not be disappointed. Pair it with pot roast this winter. Buy a case. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of fresh blueberries, anise and earth lead to firm and supple tannins on the palate. This red wine blend presents incredible depth, with layered flavors of candied nuts, licorice and dark chocolate that lead to a mocha finish featuring ample, sweet tannins.
