Wine Review: This kitchen sink red blend is a nice value considering its $12 price point. It is opaque and very dark purple colored and opens with fragrant black currant bouquet with a hint of barnyard and anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, shows some elevated acidity, and lots juicy fruit. Those fruits are black currant and plum with nicely integrated oak and black pepper, I also detected hints of black licorice as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are dusty and stick to the inside of your mouth. This is a nice everyday wine and would be a good glass pour to serve with juicy Kobe bacon burger sliders. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This complex red exhibits layer flavors of blackberries and plums with a subtle spiciness and silky mouthfeel that leads to a long, elegant finish.
