Wine Review: This light straw colored Nascetta is a new grape for me. It opens with wet stone and pear bouquet with a hint of wood ash. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a mineral infused peach with notes of Belgium beer and a hint of lychee. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild acidity linger for a little while. This wine is unique and food friendly. It would pair well with a seafood casserole. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Straw-yellow in color with golden highlights. The nose is fine and elegant with just the right intensity, exuding complex, lingering scents of wild flowers and herbs, citrus and exotic fruits. The bouquet suggests acacia honey, sage and rosemary. Its pleasant, warm and balanced structure makes this ideal as an accompaniment to vegetable dishes, white meats, fish and creamy cheeses.
