Wine Review: This almost clear-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Cloudy Bay opens with tomato leaf and gooseberry bouquet with hints of green bell pepper and papaya. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and refined. The flavor profile is asparagus and papaya blend with notes of grapefruit and gentle yellow peach. We also detected hints of honeydew melon, celery, and green tomato.
