Wine Review: This coral colored wine from Cline is made with Mourvedre. It opens with a fragrant lime peel bouquet with hints of tangerine and Maraschino cherry. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, displays nice acidity and is bright. The flavor profile is gentle mineral infused strawberry and lime blend with hints of kiwi, tangerine and saline. The finish is dry and refreshing. I found this Rose to be a crowd-pleasing style. It would pair well with a mahi-mahi sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: In the wonderful tradition of rosés found in Portugal, Spain, Italy and France, this wine is perfect on its own, well-chilled. It is crisp and refreshing, not overly sweet, and has hints of cherry and plum. Makes an excellent chilled accompaniment for spicy foods, chicken Provencal, salmon or Teriyaki.
