Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark red colored blend opens with a stewed plum and red currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is an oak influenced plum with notes of black pepper and black currant. I also detected some hints minerality and blackberry mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its big tannins build up and stick around for quite a while. I would pair this big boy with a thick and juicy burger. Enjoy - Ken
