Wine Review: This value priced Cabernet from Chile will not win you over with its bouquet. However, on the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a pleasant gentle mineral infused black cherry with hints of cedar, black olive and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger nicely. If you are looking for a nice everyday mushroom burger wine give this Cab a whirl. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2011 Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon displays a bright ruby-red color. There are intense aromas of strawberries, cherries, and blueberries on the nose, mingled with some elegant oak, chocolate, and coffee aromas from barrel ageing. On the palate the wine shows a firm, complex structure, ripe, soft tannins and a long, persistent finish.
