Wine Review: This midnight purple colored red blend from Argentina opens with a blackberry and toasted oak bouquet with a hint of tobacco leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is amazing. It is very well-balanced, rather smooth, and almost silky. The flavor profile is a blend of blackberry, toasted oak, and black plum with notes of stony minerality. The finish is dry and its refined dusty tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This wine was very well received by all that tried it. We would pair this classy red blend with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken and Dave
