Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with red raspberry and strawberry bouquet with notes of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild red raspberry with notes of cherry. I also detected hints of strawberry and faint oak. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and was well like by those that tried it. It would pair nicely with pork chops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: An amazingly elegant showing from our version of Stoller Vineyards Pinot Noir in a rather warm vintage gives effluent blue fruits, black cherry, cardamom, and German chocolate cake. Deep garnet in color and just beginning to open up on the palate, expect long dusty tanning, juicy berry pie, plum skin and fresh barkdust to integrate and elongate over many years to come.
