Wine Review: This un-oaked Chardonnay from Oregon opens with a vanilla tootsie roll and orange like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, creamy and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a combination of pear and tangerine with a hint of honey, green melon and lime. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine would be perfect for a summer afternoon at the beach with fish and chips and a bucket of clam strips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright, clean, flinty-briney, with mineral, lime and tropical fruit aromatics, this wine is all about freshness, bracing and balanced acidity and flavors that are linear, including ginger, white pepper, stone fruit, apple pie and slate. The palate weight is impressive for an unoaked chardonnay, the finish prolonged, and the purity leaving the sense it will age impeccably. May be the best INOX we've made.
