Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Pinot Gris opens with mild apple and pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and palate coating. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused Anjou pear with hints of green apple. The finish is dry and its mild acidity lingers nicely after the wine is gone. This Pinot Gris is Very Good and food friendly. I would pair it with a Dover sole casserole. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: From a cool, low-crop vintage, there are exotic tropical fruit, jasmine, pear juice and papaya aromas and flavors, and racy lemon sorbet and spice palate impressions, set on-edge by great acidity and perfectly balanced minor residual sugar. Perfect food wine.
