Wine Review: This very light red colored Pinot is very approachable. It opens with a smoky oak bouquet with a bit of black raspberry in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, easy going, and smooth. The flavor profile is a moderate oak infused black raspberry. The finish is dry and its gentle tannins fade away nicely. This Pinot is not overly complex, but it is very food friendly. I would pair it with lightly seasoned pork tenderloin and apple sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: An intense, red-fruited pinot with hints of black tea, smoke, and warm brown spices such as clove, nutmeg, and cardamom. High-toned fruit, edgy bright acid, fine tannin, and mineral length lead to a clean and succulent finish. This is an elegant, sweet-fruited pinot with exceptional aging potential. Cool indeed!
