Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Châteauneuf-du-Pape opens with a dried strawberry and red plum bouquet with hints of dried herbs and red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is silky smooth and very well-balanced. The flavor profile is red cherry, oolong tea, and crushed stone blend with notes of dried strawberry and raspberry. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins lasted for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this CDP with a cassoulet or duck confit. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Magnificent deep intense ruby-red color. The nose of this Beaucastel red 2019 is rich and complex, mixing superb notes of spices, fresh fruit, cocoa, and brandy. Very elegant, full-bodied, and generous on the palate, this wine offers a silky texture and powerful aromas of black berries and noble spices. It ends with a very nice length.
