Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from Washington State opens with a very fragrant oak and apple like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, rich and very flavorful. Those flavors are a very expressive butterscotch and apple blend with integrated oak and notes of pear. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. It you like a rich styled Chard, you will love this wine. I would pair it with chicken francese or lobster bisque. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Indian Wells Chardonnay delivers an appealing tropical fruit character typical of warm sites like the Wahluke Slope. I like this Chardonnay's ripe pineapple and butterscotch flavors and rich, creamy texture. Try it with scallops, scampi or pasta with rich sauces.
