Wine Review: This inky and midnight blue colored kitchen sink blend opens with a blueberry bouquet with a hint of blackberry jam. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a mild boysenberry and black plum blend with notes of delicate minerality and faint blackberry. I also detected hints of black cherry and oak as well. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for a nice amount of time. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Indian Wells Red Blend is an easy drinking red blend from warmer climate vineyards. The wine reflects the rich, round powerful style of Washington fruit, highlighting eight varietals. It is a true example of the art of blending. The wine offers jammy boysenberry flavors from the Syrah with a luscious backbone from the Merlot. This would be a great match with barbecue ribs.
