Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc was described by our tasters as a very nice everyday offering. It opens with a very mild lime and green pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and displays pleasantly mild acidity. Everyone noted how easy it was to drink. The flavor profile is a mild Anjou pear with hints of green apple and a touch of lime. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. We all thought this was a nice and affordable summer pool wine. We would serve it with aged Gouda on stone wheat crackers. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: "The mostly stainless steel fermentation makes this a crisp, refreshing style of Sauvignon Blanc. The wine offers fresh aromas of herbs and lavender with a beautiful floral note. A touch of Semillon is added for richness. This wine would pair well with dishes with cream sauce." - Bob Bertheau, Head Winemaker
