Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Merlot opens with a toasty oak influenced black raspberry bouquet with hints of leather and chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, silky and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with nicely integrated old vanilla oak with a hint of blueberry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are friendly. This Very Good Merlot would pair this very good everyday wine with beef bourguignon or linguini alla puttanesca. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: We craft this wine to be our complex yet approachable Merlot. Th e wine off ers aromas of black cherry, leather and spice with layers of rich dark red fruit flavors and a long, smooth, sweetfi nish. A touch of Syrah adds a jammy fruit character. I think of this wine as a great "everyday red." - Bob
