Wine Review: This dark coral colored wine opens with a strawberry and tangerine bouquet with a hint of Maraschino cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth for a Rose. No edges at all. The flavor profile is mineral influenced mild strawberry with hints of tangerine, red cherry and banana at the end. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This wine is versatile and would pair well with shrimp cocktail. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This rose has a beautiful light salmon color with slight grey reflections. The aromas, particularly from the Grenache, begin with fresh grass clippings and grapevine flowers, and evolve into additional floral hints. On the palate, the mouthfeel is round, with a beautiful body and a crisp taste of aniseed or fennel flavored candy. The delicate La Rose is crafted to touch the heart and inspire happiness.
