Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Bordeaux Blanc opens with a lime and mild grapefruit bouquet with hints of quince, ginger, and white pepper. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a gooseberry, quince, and white pepper blend with notes of green apple and steeped green tea. I also detected some hints of peas and honeydew melon in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. This wine would pair well with Cod en Papillote. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lovely pale golden color with a little hint of green. The expressive nose offers intense aromas with exotics and white flowers. Begins with a refreshing mouth that reveals an ample and harmonious flesh. Slightly lemony reach a pleasant tasting in the final. This "pleasure wine" should be served cool as either as a pre-dinner drink or during meals with first courses of seafood or fish.
