Wine Review: This very dark red colored Merlot based blend from Bordeaux is a terrific value. It opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with nicely integrated oak and mild minerality. I also picked up hints of red beet as well. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This is a very nice wine to pair with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
