Wine Review: This wine is the second label Leoville Poyferre. This Bordeaux blend is midnight purple colored and opens with a faint black currant and cinnamon bouquet with hints of wet stone, boysenberry, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with notes of medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is a mild blackberry and stony minerality blend with notes of gentle graphite and black plum. We also detected hints of black raspberry, cassis, and tea. The finish is dry and medium tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with juicy Kobe bacon cheeseburger. Enjoy - KWGTP
