Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with lots of different aromas. We detected black cherry, black currant, modeling clay and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, round and smooth. The flavor profile is gentle black currant and black cherry blend with notes of cola and light oak. We also detected some hints of graphite, dried herbs. The finish is dry and its well-managed moderate tannins linger nicely. The Panel would pair this Cab with a New York strip steak or a rack of lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Rich, dark and concentrated, this wine displays luxurious aromas of crème de cassis, plum, ripe berries, anise and fresh herbs, as well as hints of vanilla, clove, dark chocolate and sweet spices from aging in French oak. On the lush, layered palate, supple fine-grained tannins frame the dark berry and black plum flavors, with hints of cedar, espresso and tobacco leaf adding sophistication to a long, voluptuous finish.
