Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with notes of black cherry and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, smooth, and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and black currant blend with notes of blueberry and mild minerality. We also detected a hint of milk chocolate. The finish has moderate tannins and is nicely prolonged. This Cab would pair well with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A dark regal red, the 2017 vintage opens with the pure scents of chocolate, cassis and nutmeg. Notes of bar-b-que meat and a flash of hot chili flakes demand further attention. Entry on the palate is smooth, with fine tannins becoming grippy and expansive. Flavors of lush cooked plums mix with spiced chocolate. The texture of this wine is weighty, bold and rich. Tannins persist. Toasted wood balances hints of fresh pomace on the lingering finish.
