Wine Review: This ruby colored Nebbiolo based wine opens with a fragrant and attractive teaberry gum and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, bright and savory. The flavor profile is a cedar plank and red plum blend with notes of loam, stony minerality and red currant. I also detected hints of red bell pepper and teaberry. The finish is dry, and its bold dusty tannins linger and last for a very long time. This very good value hearty wine would pair nicely with a juicy Angus burger or grilled Angus steak tips. Enjoy – Ken
