Wine Review: The fresh Portuguese white blend is a pale straw color with a green tinge and has a bouquet with peach, river rock and orange-peel aromas. On the palate, it is medium-minus bodied with high acidity. It is bold and dry. There are flavors of lemon-lime, gooseberry and minerality, along with hints of green apple and spiciness. The mineral driven finish is moderate in length. This good value Portuguese white wine would go great with spicy stuffed clams. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Fresh mineral aromas, and citrus and floral hints which are very typical of high-altitude Douro white wines. Fresh on the palate, vibrant and fruity with medium finish. Serve as an aperitif or with grilled fish, shellfish, or cold pastas.
